Series: Virgil Flowers

This note contains spoilers for the series.

This is basically a spninoff of Sandford's Prey series. In fact Davenport is Flowers' boss at the Minnesota BCA. The "Kidd" books are also in this universe, Davenport uses him as a consultant on art at least once.

Flowers works mostly outstate cases, and he also writes for fishing magazines. There's ongoing good-natured ribbing about towing his boat behind state vehicles, and it gets blown up on the job at least once.
